Bringing together CBS Alumni in Hong Kong
Welcome to the Columbia Business School Alumni Club of Hong Kong, a club run by and dedicated to CBS alumni in Hong Kong.
Our mission is to ENGAGE the CBS community, ENRICH the CBS lifelong experience and to ENHANCE the CBS brand. Through social events, speaker series, outreach functions and mentorship programs, CBSACHK offers many opportunities for you to join us.
There are a number of ways for you to become involved with our vibrant community and connect with 700+ CBS alumni in Hong Kong.
Speakers
Our distinguished speakers from all areas of business generously donate their time to share with us their experiences and journeys in an intimate setting. Speakers are usually affiliated with CBS or Columbia University and want to give back to our community.
Social
Our social events center around networking and fun. The goal is for everyone to be accessible to each other and create joyous experiences together. The venues, themes and activities are carefully curated to create something for everyone. Meals, happy hours, hikes and wine tastings are just a sample of some of our previous social events.
Outreach
Our outreach activities seek to continually strengthen the connection between alumni, CBS and the Club. We coordinate events with CBS’s NY alumni office for new CBS alumni arrivals, visiting professors, and current and prospective students. In addition, we work closely with CBS Admissions to increase yield of the accepted candidates. Our goal is to increase community bond in all aspects.
Mentorship
Our year-long mentorship program carefully pairs alumni to share experiences with each other and promote the development of mentees. The mentor is an invaluable resource to navigate the workplace as well as progressing the mentees careers.
Peer Learning
Our peer learning program is an opportunity for alumni to broaden and deepen their relationships within the community, sharing industry knowledge and expertise, career advice and providing support in other situations such as relocating to a new city.
Upcoming Events
We host a variety of professional, social and community service-oriented events throughout the year to bring our community together. Alumni who subscribe to our newsletter get advance notification on all new events, and members receive free, discounted or priority registration to Club events.
